VIVID RAINBOW HAIR CARE

 WAIT 72 HOURS BEFORE SHAMPOOING
Protect your investment! Let the color marinate as your hair rests as long as possible.
GENTLY WASH YOUR HAIR IN COOL WATER ONLY & WASH NO MORE THAN 3 TIMES/WEEK.
Remember, the more you wash your hair and the hotter the water, the more it will fade.
USE ONLY COLOR-SAFE SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, AND STYLING PRODUCTS AS RECOMMENDED BY YOUR STYLIST.
Professional products are your insurance to long-lasting colors. We cannot guarantee longevity if non-professional products are used.
USE HOT TOOLS SPARINGLY AND ALWAYS USE A HEAT PROTECTANT.
Hot tools like curling irons and flat irons will dissolve the haircolor molecules. Make sure to set your tools to 350 degrees or less.
Use a color-depositing conditioner for all-over colors. We can make you one to match your custom shade!
DO NOT SWIM IN CHLORINATED POOLS.
One plunge in a chlorine pool can completely strip fashion colors. If you do swim, make sure to cover your hair completely with a swim cap.
We can only guarantee our hair color outcomes and longevity if these instructions are followed. Vivids, rainbows, and fashion colors WILL FADE and may last between 2 and 10 shampoos. Results will vary depending on what color, shade, and tone is used in your hair. Regardless of maintenance routines, unnatural hair color will always fade and will require regular touch ups as recommended by your stylist.

TAPE-IN EXTENSION CARE

Be very careful when brushing or combing and avoid the area near the tape. Hold the hair and gently detangle starting from the ends.
The extension is colored with semi-permanent haircolor and will fade over time. Do not use shampoo on the extension pieces and rinse with cool water only.
Do not submerge the extensions in chlorinated pool water; it will remove all the color!
Avoid getting conditioner on the tape area.
If you pull your hair back, make sure the extension piece is sitting flat against your head and isn’t pulling on your scalp.
After 4-6 weeks, the extension should be removed or moved up to avoid breakage. You will know it’s time if you can almost fully twist the tape around.
The Hive Salon is not responsible for any injury or damage due to misuse or improper extension care.
