Service Guarantee & Redo Policy

Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Our stylists work very hard to communicate well and set expectations for the outcome of your service, which is why we also recommend a consultation for new color clients. If you are unhappy with the outcome of your service, please call us WITHIN ONE WEEK AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT and we will be happy to make it right.

This policy applies in the following situations: your haircut feels uneven; you got bangs for the first time and it there are long hairs falling forward that should be added to your bangs; your color turned out brighter than expected; your toner over highlights turned out darker than expected. All requests for redos must be approved. Even if a redo is agreed upon at the end of your original service, payment is required that day.

This policy DOES NOT apply in the following situations: after one week from your appointment; corrective color services (ex: when wanting to go cool blonde from very dark or previous color your hair will have warmth and require multiple appointments); ANY chemicals or treatments have been added to your hair in the week since your appointment; your stylist has already given you a redo since your original appointment; you change your mind from what you originally asked for; your hair doesn’t look exactly like your inspiration photo; the integrity of your hair is at risk; or we feel this policy is being abused.

The Hive Salon does not offer refunds for services completed. We take great pride in our work and will do everything in our power to work with you and fix any issues you have with your haircut or color. If a color does not turn out as planned, we will offer you a redo service free of charge, upon management’s approval. However, not every color works for everyone’s hair. Sometimes haircolor will fade in ways we cannot predict, such is the nature of getting a color different than your natural one. If this happens, we will correct the situation to the best of our ability and recommend a color that is more appropriate/healthy/etc for your hair. Please reach out to us with any questions!
