COVID-19 Policy

Clients:

To protect the health and safety of our employees, clients 2+ years old are highly recommended to wear a mask at all times while in the building and through their entire service(s). Mask and face covering policies will be updated as federal and local mandates change.

You may request that your service provider wears a mask during your service, we don’t mind!

According to the CDC, older adults and people of all ages with serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk of death or severe illness from COVID-19. All clients should evaluate their personal risk in determining whether to schedule an appointment. By entering the salon, clients voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and will hold the salon harmless in the event of exposure.

Employees:

All employees who are eligible for vaccination are required to be completely vaccinated and boosted according to CDC recommendations, local vaccine availability, and employee vaccine eligibility. All employees, regardless of vaccination status, must wash their hands before and after each client, completely disinfect work areas and tools between clients.

Masks are highly recommended at all times while in the building. Mask and face covering policies will be updated as federal and local mandates change. 

All employees are required to help enforce these rules for the health and safety of our community. 

The Hive and all of its employees reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not abide by these rules. All Stylists reserve the right to stop services at any time for client noncompliance and argumentation.

The Hive reserves the right to heighten COVID-19 policies at any time by requiring temperature checks, hand sanitation upon entering, eye protection, partitions, or suspending certain services that may put our employees at greater risk of exposure. 

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy:

Clients and Stylists may cancel appointments at any time due to a COVID-19 exposure or a positive COVID-19 test result. Deposits will be returned. The Hive reserves the right to close at any time due to employee or client exposure in order to protect the health of our community.
